Lot 33: CD 121 C.D. & P.T. CO. Color: Bright Apple Green Description: 1/2" base flake, 1/4" wire ridge flake, hard to see 2" stress mark across the lower front skirt (see photo). The Central District & Printing Telegraph Company was started to bring telegraph service to Pittsburgh, PA. The "printing telegraph" was a device to allow the transmission of messages through a keyboard rather than a telegraph key. A nice contrast to lot 32. A nice toll seldom seen in this color!
