Lot 8: PAT. NOV. 1870 {CD 154 style} Color: Clear Description: 1 3/8" diameter and 1 5/8" tall. This miniature insulator is embossed "PAT. NOV. 1870", which does not correspond to any known patent. Some believe they may have been produced in the early 1970's, perhaps even November 1970, by Joe St. Claire of St. Claire Glass. This is quite a small insulator. It is shown actual size next to a standard CD 154 Whitall Tatum in the main view; however, please note that there is no evidence that these miniatures were produced by Whitall Tatum nor associated with them in any way.
