Lot 37: CD 121.4 A.U. [020] Color: Light Green Description: This CD style is getting tougher to acquire. Produced by the Hemingray Glass Company for the short-lived American Union Telegraph Company. One can very clearly see the "A.U." embossed on the front skirt. Some dings and scuffs, perhaps indicating it was buried, but no glass is missing. 3/4" flake at the base of the threads. Hemingray collectors should note that the CD 121.4 is always embossed with the patent date of December 19, 1871. Add this old Hemingray insulator to your collection!
