Lot 17: CD 106.1 DUQUESNE Color: Cornflower Blue Description: This insulator sports the classic Duquesne Cornflower Blue coloration, highlighted by an amber swirl in the dome! These are often pretty rough and crude, but this example appears to be molded quite well. Perhaps an unlisted embossing, as the "DUQUESNE" in the front is either blotted out or very faint. "GLASS.CO." can be clearly seen in the rear. Duquesne operated in the Pittsburgh, PA area from approximately 1905 through 1908.
