Lot 133: Porcelain Buller's Dry Spot Color: Cream Description: This is a pretty scarce Buller's dry spot or capolinea (though it's not Italian). It is ink marked "1946" and is a neat post-war piece. Approximately 6 1/2" diameter by 4 3/4" tall. The top of the threads on the base piece broke off and has been glued back on. A few areas of scuffing as can be seen in the photos. The consignor reported that "even the collectors over the pond I showed photos to have said they've never seen one." Estimate: $150 - $200 Open: $1 Price Realized: $154 |
