Lot 126: CD 283 HEMINGRAY [010] Color: Blue Aqua Description: These are often found with some chipping and drip point damage. This only has a flake on the outside and inside that chips 1 drip point; in the rear there are 3 missing drip points next to 2 chipped drip points, 1 chipped drip point with associated small shallow fracture. On April 25, 1899, Vernon G. Converse was granted a design patent for the "Provo" type insulators, specifically mentioning the "horizontal petticoats" (ridges), the "vertical petticoats" (inner skirts) and the "shield" (outer skirt).
