Lot 105: CD 196 HEMINGRAY [020] Color: Rich Blue Aqua Description: One might be tempted to call this Hemingray Blue, but that is seen later, in the 1920's production. These units often have slicing under the umbrella and many damaged drip points. As best as we can tell, all the drip points on the umbrella, as well as all the ones on the base, are perfect; virtually unheard of for a piece like this! 1/4" flake on the upper wire ridge in the front center that is difficult to see when backlit. Having the drip points in outstanding condition on this piece is truly amazing! Add in the beautiful color and this insulator is certainly worth a premium over your typical Aqua example!
