Lot 103
Price Realized: $154
Lot 103: CD 185 HEMINGRAY [020] Color: Aqua Description: This mine insulator has an interesting texture that could be attributed to graphite in the mold. One can also see a swirl of graphite in the wire groove on the right side. Mine insulators were used not only in mines, but to dead-end regular lines as well. Both of these situations tended to lead to more damage than usual, so many surviving mine insulators are not in very good shape. 1/2" base chip, some chatter around the base which also affects some of the drip points, a few dings here and there. Mine insulators are getting harder to find! Estimate: $100 - $150 Open: $1 Price Realized: $154 |
