Lot 57: CD 131 BROOKFIELD [025] Color: Light Aqua Description: An early threaded Brookfield piece the same style as its threadless CD 731 counterpart! The embossing is a little unusual. On the front skirt, the embossing "W.BROOKFIELD" and "NO 55 FULTON ST. N.Y." are small but carefully engraved with serifed letters. This is unusual on any insulator. Several 1/4" base flakes, otherwise about very near mint. One can see some zigzag of milk in the front skirt and some translucent effect in the upper wire ridge and there is a "polliwog" swimming in the upper wire ridge near the right mold line, both of which add some character to this classic old insulator!
