Lot 38: CD 121 PATENT - OTHER [020] Color: Light Aqua Description: Called the "Pleated Skirt" because of the vertical pleats running down the skirt and over the base, giving the illusion of drip points. Frederick Withycombe's patent of September 19, 1899 described these ridges to absorb mechanical shock. 1/8" wire ridge flake, several dings on the dome as well as here and there, 1/4" open bubble on the base of the skirt. The pleats give the insulator a nice visual presentation! Estimate: $30 - $40 Open: $1 Price Realized: $61 |
