Lot 158: CD 292 PATENT JUNE 17 1890 [015] Color: Rich Green Description: This insulator bears Samuel Oakman's patent of June 17, 1890 for "dovetail projections" to "receive and hold wires." The patent is usually associated with the "Mickey Mouse" and "Roman Helmet" insulators but is applicable here because of the saddle groove. Chatter around the overpoured base, 1/4" flake under the left rear ear, a couple of 3/4" scratches. This example will be a colorful addition to your power collection!
