Lot 145: CD 257 HEMINGRAY [040] Color: Green w/ Amber Swirls Description: Nice solid Green color moving up from the skirt into the pinhole. Some amber swirls sprout out into the ears. They are especially interesting in the right ear where they intersect each other. Quite an unusual pattern of swirling! Mickeys and brackets were recently recovered from the rafters of a steel mill. This example was mounted, along with others, on steel brackets in groups of three. See lot 184 for one of the brackets. Unfortunately this insulator has a fracture around the entire area above the flange, very likely from taking the stress of sitting on the metal pin for decades.
