Lot 142: CD 256 MANHATTAN [010] Color: Blue Description: This insulator was crudely made with a nice "Whittle mold" texture. 1/4" base flake, otherwise very near mint. The Manhattan Electrical Supply Co. sold these insulators, and there is a great deal of speculation as to who made them. The design appears in catalogs of the C. S. Knowles Company.
