Lot 97: CD 160.7 AM.INSULATOR CO. [015] Color: Light Aqua w/ Amber Band Description: The front view displays an interesting 3/8" vertical amber band. Because of the tall, tapered shape, these insulators are nicknamed the "Sno-cone". A large bruise on the rear may have been caused by a lightning strike. It is likely that the insulator split into three pieces and was reglued. 3/4" inner skirt chip, small base flake that removes "CO." This insulator has led a hard life, but can be an interesting conversation piece! Estimate: $50 - $100 Open: $1 Price Realized: $286 |
