Lot 46: CD 124.3 DEC. 19, 1871 [010] Color: Light Green Aqua Description: These old "No 4" styles are getting harder to find and are increasing in value as collectors become more aware of their scarcity! This example has the interesting characteristic of "mold line over base" (MLOB) which is only found on a few Hemingray pieces. For the specialist, this is the one-line embossing on the crown with an "E" on the front skirt. Some flaking and chipping on the base and some scuffing and dings.
