Lot 204: {CD 317 Style} Wooden Replica Color: Walnut Description: This is a beautiful, full-sized wooden replica of a CD 317! In the mid 2000's, the Corrieros crafted hand-turned wooden replicas for a number of styles of insulators. All are pieces of artwork, as each piece of wood displays a different pattern. This item is marked on the base "Corriero 2005". A couple of checks and a natural 3/4" imperfection in the wood. A nice blond area in the skirt can be seen in the front view. Overall, pretty amazing, considering that this was turned from a piece of wood at least 8" square! Estimate: $75 - $100 Open: $1 Price Realized: $72 |
