Lot 169: CD 1038 CUTTER [030] Color: Green Description: {Ribbed base} The green Cutters are hard to come by! The high-point edges on the base are chipped off, and the insulator is a little rough all over with a slight haze. This design was patented by Scott C. Cutter on April 26, 1904 as a tree insulator, and it bears the embossing "CUTTER PAT APR. 26, 04". It was attached to a tree through the holes.
