Lot 147: CD 260 CALIFORNIA [020] Color: Aqua Description: The "pinch-eared" California helmets are much less common than their "regular-eared" counterparts! A standard saddle groove can be seen in the Burgundy example shown in lot 146. This variation is only found in shades of Aqua, whereas the standard style is found in many shades, excluding Aqua! No chips or cracks, just a number of hard-to-see dings and flakes, mainly in the rear. If you have a run of the many colors and shades found in the standard-eared Cal helmets, this one will fit in and stand out quite nicely. A required piece for the advanced California collector!
