Lot 62: CD 132 DEC. 19, 1871 [026] Color: Fizzy Gray Blue Description: Most of these bullets are quite crude, but some are very well made. This is one of the latter, with smooth, shiny glass. For the specialist, this is the embossing with the "-" (dash) between "DEC.19" and "1871". A couple of small areas of flaking on the base which are typical of this style. [ UPDATE: These can be seen in view 3. There are a couple of typical factory annealing lines, one of which can be seen on the front right side.] The well-formed glass, interesting color, fizz, and condition make this a keeper for sure!
