Lot 136: CD 162 W.F.G.CO. [010] Color: Purple Description: This crude Purple signal was produced by the Western Flint Glass Company which operated in Valverde, Colorado, on the outskirts of Denver. A number of flakes on the base from 1/4" to 1/2" in size. 1/2" open wire bubble on the right side, 1/2" wire ridge flake on the left. There is a crude 1" diameter area where there were glass flakes pressed into the dome. A beautiful shade of Purple for a reasonable price! Estimate: $30 - $40 Open: $1 Price Realized: $242 |
