Lot 6: CD 110.6 NATIONAL INSULATOR CO. Color: Blue EIN: [020] Description: Nicknamed the "Large Corkscrew" for obvious reasons! A nice blob of milk can be seen at the top of the threads. The damage-prone corkscrew spirals are in great condition. 1/2" wire ridge chip and some high-point wear on the ridges, otherwise very near mint. The bold lettering on the base is all intact. This is the "variant with a smaller upper skirt diameter, thus more taper on the skirt" as described in the Price Guide. This variant was primarily found in New Hampshire, where they were used on a fire alarm circuit. A must-have for the CD or New England glass collector!
