Lot 46: CD 131.4 DEC. 19, 1871 Color: Light Green EIN: [010] Description: This is one of the earliest Hemingray insulators; it was embossed with the style number "1". On December 19, 1871 a patent was granted to Ralph Hemingray for a process to form threads in glass insulators. 1/4" skirt flake, a little scuffing on the base, otherwise easily very near mint.
