Color: Green EIN: [040] Description: Produced by Hemingray for the Western Electric Manufacturing Company, which supplied equipment to the Western Union Telegraph Company. Both sets of initials are boldly embossed on the insulator. For the specialist there is a "B" on the rear skirt. 1/4" wire ridge flake, 1/8" wire ridge flake, otherwise very near mint. These typically have a very crude and wavy base. This one is very well formed and rests nearly level. A really good example of this older Western Union style!
