Lot 31: CD 117 "Ampersand" Color: Green EIN: [010] Description: CD 117 insulators are embossed with an odd marking on the skirt: a single "&" (ampersand). This "exchange" style insulator was produced by the Brookfield Glass Company. A write-up on insulators.info reads: "Telephone exchange line construction requires frequent drop lines to residences and a two-groove insulator (one groove for the line, and one groove for the drop wire) is needed."
