Lot 29: CD 113.2 DUQUESNE Color: Blue EIN: [020] Description: The wire ridge on this unusual but classic keg style has the typical crude molding. This is the embossing variant where Duquesne is spelled incorrectly as "DUQUSNE". The Duquesne Glass Company was active in the early 1900's in the Pittsburgh, PA area, which is where most of these were found. 1/4" wire ridge flake on the rear, otherwise very near mint. CD 113.2 is elusive and this is a nice example. Why not obtain the unusual variant with the spelling error? Estimate: $500 - $600 Open: $1 Price Realized: $825 |
