Lot 117: CD 186.2 HEMINGRAY Color: Clear EIN: [010] Description: This insulator has a six-sided nut embedded in the dome. It is similar to the CD 186.1, which was illustrated in a 1946 patent as a spark gap insulator. Many of these have some stress fractures around the nut, and this one is no exception. Quarter-sized fracture angled down from the nut at the left side, and a couple of small ones around the nut as well. Essentially free from dings, and only a 1/4" flake on the rear skirt.
