Lot 100: CD 162 HEMINGRAY Color: Carnival EIN: [160] Description: Your classic Hemingray carnival! 2 pinhead flakes on the base of the skirt and a small factory area of roughness are not coated with carnival; this is consistent with factory-applied carnival coating and helps to authenticate the piece. The insulator is otherwise very, very near mint. The date code of 1934 is also consistent with the production of Carnival insulators. This insulator was carnival-coated at the factory by spraying a liquid coating onto the hot glass, most likely to identify a particular line. A nice shiny piece to go with your other colored signals!
