Lot 109: CD 162 HEMINGRAY Color: Flashed Amber EIN: [150] Description: A rare coloration and one of the few Flashed Amber pieces that Hemingray produced! Nice striations can be seen on the front and the rear. Produced in very small quantities, some units were found in the Hemingray dump and were often damaged. This example has a couple of small blotchy patches in the front and a 2" skirt chip repair on the left rear. From the mold and date codes, they appear to have been produced in 1941 in a few different molds. Quite an elusive and desirable insulator for the signal collector!
