Lot 27: CD 110 BROOKFIELD Color: Green Aqua Description: Nicknamed the "Baby Spiral Groove". Some might call this example Green, but we'll be conservative and call it Green, Green Aqua. About very near mint. The CD 110 is the smallest of the three styles that utilized John Barclay's October 8, 1907 patent for the spiral groove. A spiral extension above the wire groove was intended to facilitate installing or removing the insulator without removing the tie-wire. See lot 28 for its big brother, CD 150.
