Lot 38: CD 127.4 PATENT DEC. 19, 1871 Color: Dark Aqua Description: Note the "DEC. 19, 1871" embossing indicating this insulator was made by Hemingray. No doubt, one of the first embossed pieces Hemingray made. The unembossed examples, such as in lot 37, are uncommon, and these embossed units are rare. A 3/4" skirt chip to the rear of the right mold line, otherwise about very near mint! A key piece for the telegraph insulator or Hemingray collector!
