Lot 190: Porcelain Dog Color: Cream Description: A porcelain dog stamped "THE COLONIAL INSULATOR CO" on the front base, with a patent date and number on the rear that are hard to completely read. Deceivingly tall at over 9 1/2". The company was known to make molds like this for producing rubber gloves so perhaps this was used to make rubber dogs? It even has a rubber tail so it won't break off. One sold on eBay in 2012 for $99.99. Great condition and perhaps one of the most unique "go-withs" we have ever seen!
