Lot 71: CD 164 B.G.M.CO. Color: Purple w/ Milk Ribbons Description: 1/8" flake/open bubble on the skirt, 1/8" flake on the inner skirt, several other dings here and there. A nice milky ribbon runs from the base of the front skirt, up and over the pinhole, and down to the rear skirt where there is a larger concentration of milk. The Baltimore Glass Manufacturing Company was formed in 1896 and it is believed they produced their last insulators in 1903. The CD 164 style is one of the more difficult styles to acquire, and this is a great example! Estimate: $650 - $800 Open: $10 Price Realized: $1,210 |
