Lot 57: CD 133.2 L.A.C. / P & W Color: Aqua w/ Amber ribbons Description: 1/4" base flake, otherwise about very near mint. This thick, heavy insulator was likely produced in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The insulator bears the initials of Louis A. Cauvet, as well as the date of his patent for internal screw-threads. A nice amber ribbon winds around skirt, up over the pinhole and back down on the rear. The extra dome glass allows you to clearly see the ribbon. The best display is with the front of the insulator facing straight at you! A great example! Estimate: $350 - $450 Open: $10 Price Realized: $462 |
