Lot 224: CD 121 {Unembossed AGEE} {Australia} Color: Dark Red Amber Description: Very, very near mint. This is most likely the earliest insulator produced by the Australian Glass Manufacturers. Note the lack of the typical AGEE embossing; only a few of these units in amber are known to exist. This insulator was probably produced in the mid 1920's. The dark glass and thick, bold wire ridges really set it apart from the typical CD 121 style. Estimate: $50 - $75 Open: $10 Price Realized: $286 |
