Lot 200: CD 1038 CUTTER Color: Aqua Description: {Coffin bottom} Some of the typical flaking on the base, including a 1" flake on the rear. The Cutter is known as the "tree insulator" and it was attached to a tree through the holes. Typically, the base is curved with vertical ridges. This is a less common variant called the "coffin bottom," and there is a square recess in the base instead. The Cutter is a popular style of early, non-pintype insulator, and the base type makes it more unique! Estimate: $350 - $450 Open: $10 Price Realized: $528 |
