Lot 189: CD 269 JUMBO Color: Rich Aqua Description: Excellent condition, especially for such a large piece of glass. There are folds and creases throughout the glass. The size of this insulator is deceiving. It is a massive 7 1/4" tall and weighs over 5 pounds. It has the nickname "Eared Jumbo" to differentiate it from its earless CD 140 counterpart, which can be seen in lot 188. Many of these "jumbo" size insulators were used on the Boston Elevated Railway. Great clarity in the glass enhances its already "jumbo" presence!
