Lot 169: CD 256 MANHATTAN Color: Blue w/ Amber Streak Description: 1/8" factory potstone stress area otherwise about very, very, near mint. This is the less common short variant of Manhattan insulator, measuring only 3 3/4" tall, a full 1/4" shorter than the typical 4" tall example such as can be seen in lot 170. The Manhattan Electrical Supply Co. sold these insulators, and there is a great deal of speculation as to who made them.
