Lot 54: CD 128 HEMINGRAY_CS Color: Medium Opalescent Description: No significant damage! There are none of the nicks and chips that are common to these insulators. Most of them were used on a line in Florida. When the line came down, many fell into a swamp and sustained heavy brown stains and damage. There is minimal staining on this one, with most on the bottom of the upper wire ridge, rendering it invisible when you are looking at the piece! Very nice medium density that glows orange when back lit and shows its fantastic opalescence when front lit. One of the best in this color! Estimate: $300 - $400 Open: $10 Price Realized: $275 |
