Lot 24: CD 110.6 NATIONAL INSULATOR CO. Color: Light Blue Description: 3/8" base flake with associated 1/2" bruise and an open bubble, all on the base, affect three digits. There are a few milk swirls in the skirt. The damage prone "corkscrew" is in excellent condition. The large CD 110.6 was first found on a fire alarm system in New Hampshire, but others were later discovered in New Jersey along a long distance telephone line. It appears to have been used only on the ridge pin. For the smaller CD 110.5 "corkscrew" style, see lot 23. A hard-to-find CD with some character!
