Lot 80: CD 126 W. BROOKFIELD Color: Yellow Green Description: A few small base flakes, otherwise very near mint. The CD 126 was the Western Union standard in the 1870's. While Brookfield still offered this style into the 1900's, other styles were gaining in popularity. This is a classic early crown-embossed Brookfield in a nice bright color!
