Lot 74: CD 123 E.C. & M. CO. S.F. Color: Blue Aqua w/ Amber Stripe Description: "H" mold - 4" tall. Some typical flaking around the base but overall quite minor, as the rest is virtually perfect. Produced for the Electrical Construction & Maintenance Company of San Francisco, these early threaded glass insulators were simple in construction but did the job! A stunning amber stripe runs up the side of the insulator. Turn it around and there is a nearly 3/4" bubble. Great character and condition! Estimate: $500 - $750 Open: $10 Price Realized: $462 |
