Lot 228: Rams Horn  Description: Metal shanked hook with a composite threaded top. Some minor typical flaking at the base of the top. The base of the shank is boldly embossed with the letter "B". Generally, these were used in the 1860's, before pintype insulators became the dominant style, and there are a lot of variations.
