Lot 224: San Francisco Wooden Trolley Insulator Color: Mottled Dark Brown Description: {Saddle groove} {No inner skirt} Lignum Vitae wood. A nicely refinished piece. What is somewhat unique about this insulator is that it maintains a significant original characteristic. Rather than the saddle being ground down smooth, you can still see grooves in view 3, similar to those seen in the CD 267 style insulators.
