Lot 182: CD 263 HEMINGRAY Color: Aqua Description: {Smooth base} 1/2" base flake, a few dings and flakes here and there, overall very good condition for this style. This larger Columbia style was made by several companies including Hemingray. The insulator is really a combination of Samuel Oakman's patents of June 17, 1890 and May 12, 1891. The former refers to the "dovetail projections" ("ears") and the latter to the "eyes" on this style. This is the Columbia for the Hemingray collector!
