Lot 170: CD 252 KNOWLES No 2 CABLE Color: Rich Green Description: 3/8" ear flake, lehr kiss on front, otherwise very near mint. C.S. Knowles registered the "emerald" trademark for electrical glass, which he called "Emerald Glass." This "prism" emblem appears on many of his insulators, and is very pronounced in this example; one can see all the subtleties of the facets. The company supplied electrical construction material in the early 1900's. Swirls of amber in the ears add to this being a beautiful and desirable color for this No 2 Cable.
