Lot 10: CD 102 "VTS INDUSTRIAL" // "NUMBER 8" {CD 102 style} Color: Bright Rich Peacock Blue Description: Two fine factory annealing lines in the threads and a 1/8" base flake, about very, very near mint. Peacock blue and ruby red private issue "insulators" were made for the Village Telephone Supply Industrial Company of Salome, Arizona in the 1970's as advertising items. 500 were produced in dark ruby red and only 100 were produced in peacock blue. The low pinhole brings out the rich color. Combine the rarity with the clarity of the glass and you will see why the peacock blue units are much more sought after!
