Lot 191: Metal/Composite DC Feeder Cable Insulator Color: Greyish Metal Description: {Unembossed} Very, very near mint. A DC feeder cable insulator, with a large 1" insulated copper conductor clamped to the top. It's interesting to note that the "insulator" shell is made of metal, while the inside, including the pinhole, is made of a composite material. This was likely used on a trolley or street car line.
