Lot 19: CD 104 STANDARD GLASS INSULATOR CO. Color: Light Aqua Description: {Base embossed} Very near mint with a very light haze on the surface. One can clearly see the mold marks left in the threads from the collapsible plunger, an invention of Lawrence B. Gray, a mold maker from Boston. The Standard Glass Insulator Company (1893-1894) advertised itself as "Manufacturers of Glass Insulators by Lawrence B. Gray's Patent Process."
