Lot 57: CD 143 CANADIAN PACIFIC Color: Royal Purple Description: Very near mint with an open bubble on the rear base. These insulators were produced for the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, which was incorporated in 1881 to construct Canada's first transcontinental rail line. The line was completed in 1885 when the eastern and western sections met in Craigellachie, B.C. This bright, rich color passes light well. See lot 56 for a lighter purple variation!
