Lot 19: CD 121 C. & P. TEL. CO. Color: Rich Yellowy Green Description: Crudely molded with some glass folds and a factory "lehr kiss" on the dome, several 1/8" flakes scattered around on the wire ridges. The Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company provided service to Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and later to West Virginia. The Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company was actually several smaller companies, the first of which was founded in 1883.
